Me: a red-wine-midday-drinker, ′cause the gin and thoughts and talks and night and sleep and dreams and yesterday are gone
She: takes a shower just to wash away the smell of gin and thoughts and talks and night and sleep and dreams and somehow high flames
to get it out of her hair
off her legs
and her skin is drinking warm, warm water
running down her breast
let’s get out of her mind
out of her eyes
out of her song
out of my lies
while I am talking to a tree about the weather
about sun and rain and dust and dirt, too
and I’ve got sun in my eyes
rain on my window-pane
dust in my hair
and a dirty sweat-soaked skin
when she comes in
looking pretty nice and clean
and wearing that snow-white blouse for me
wearing that snow-white blouse for me
